This Thursday, 911 Restoration is taking a bit of a different approach to the popular #ThrowBackThursday tag.
Our team has been working hard to provide a Fresh Start for the members of our community, and we know the importance of actively engaging with one another in order to not only achieve our goals, but to excel beyond them as well. To see this philosophy in action, our team undertook an enormous challenge this week: To discover how many tennis balls we could successfully throw around a circle without any hitting the ground.
I know what you’re thinking and I agree – this doesn’t seem so hard. However, I must say I had yet to experience the sheer terror of watching 3 hard, neon green balls flying towards my face all at the same time while my hands were already preoccupied with throwing 2 other hard, neon green balls at someone else’s face until this morning. Jumping into the fray with no game plan and minimal communication led to all out tennis ball chaos.
However, let it never be said that our team is satisfied with mediocrity. Seeing the problem, we quickly adjusted our strategy and changed the way we communicated with each other. Before we knew it, 13 tennis balls were flying around the room with confidence and ease, increasing our earlier record by 5 and significantly decreasing our collective number of bruises.
I’m really proud of my team and I can’t wait to see what our new record will be next time!
