It’s Popcorn Lover’s Day so we thought it would be fun to take a little trip to the movies. In no particular order, here at 5 Films featuring Water Damage:
Titantic – I get a sinking feeling (see what I did there) whenever I think of just how much money Titanic made at the box office. Seriously, it’s the second highest grossing film of all-time behind Avatar. Speaking of gross, imagine all of that mold that resulted from the ship hitting that iceberg.
The Day After Tomorrow – Extreme weather led to an extremely bad movie starring Dennis Quaid that takes places in Manhattan.. The film’s tagline was “where will you be?” and I can tell you that after seeing this film, the answer to that question is anywhere but a movie theater.
Waterworld – Kevin Costner’s career wasn’t the only thing damaged in this film. In Waterworld, water damage is literally everywhere. Even securing all of the resulting restoration jobs from the Titantic disaster (callback!) wouldn’t be able to pay for the most expensive film ever made.
Deep Blue Sea – The film features both LL Cool J and Samuel Jackson, so you know you can’t go wrong. The film’s tagline is “Bigger. Smarter. Faster. Meaner”, which sounds more like a Kanye West track than a movie motto.
Sharknado – Move over Jaws, there’s a new shark in town and this one can fly! The Sharknado series is a restoration company’s dream due to the fact that it combines both flooding and hurricanes. As a bonus, the film features the infamous Tara Reid who suffered her own water spill after a tragic mishap involving silicon.
