Our Story
911 Restoration began in 2003 with two friends and army veterans, Idan Shpizear and Peleg Lindenberg. After their military service, they immigrated to the United States and took jobs as carpet cleaners in Los Angeles. That hands-on experience showed them a gap in the restoration industry: property owners facing a flood, fire, or mold problem needed more than technical cleanup. They needed clear communication, fast response, and someone who treated their emergency like it mattered.
That belief became the Fresh Start culture, an approach that acknowledges the stress a disaster creates and meets it with calm, capable service. In 2007, 911 Restoration began franchising so that the same standard of care could reach more communities. Today the orange 911 Restoration vans operate from more than 117+ locations across the U.S. and Canada.
